AGE GROUPS
Due to special considerations for very young children, we have a minimum age requirements for the different instruments.

  1. Children under age 4 are eligible for Music Together.
  2. All children should begin piano before starting another instrument.
  3. Adults learn music differently from children.

CHOOSING AN INSTRUMENT
We teach piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, euphonium, trombone, guitar, drums and composition.

  1. Piano is the best first instrument.
  2. Voice students must learn piano first or concurrently.
  3. We have not yet chosen an instrument.
  4. We have already chosen an instrument, but need to get one.
This student started piano at age 7
and began violin at age 9.

IMPORTANT POLICY CONSIDERATIONS
Please be aware of our policies before signing up.

  1. All no-shows are forfeited lessons.
  2. The 6-lesson Introduction is non-refundable.
  3. A lesson can be rescheduled for another day the same week.
  4. Flat rate "floating lessons" are available for students not interested in term tuition.
  5. Students must come prepared and with finger nails clipped to each lesson.
  6. Scheduling is based on seniority and availability.

WHAT DOES IT TYPICALLY COST TO GET STARTED?
Because initial startup is always the most difficult and new students tie up the schedule the same as our regular students, we require payment in full and up front for tuition and books. Initial tuition and fees are non-refundable.

  1. Students must commit to 6 Introductory non-refundable lessons.
  2. Tuition for six 30 min. lessons is $115.
  3. Tuition for six 60 min. lessons is $195.
  4. First set of books is usually $25-30.
  5. The $25 deposit required for the initial consultation is refundable or applied to tuition.
