MY CHILD IS AN INFANT
As you look into the smiling and innocent face of a new born, it is hard to believe that RIGHT NOW you should start nurturing a knowledge and love of music. What if you don't expect to have a Mozart in the family? That is NOT the reason why. The reason is because music teaches so many amazing fundamental skills and helps the child with cognitive development from the day she or he is born. Yes, the steps your take now may make the road easier to cross later on, when it comes to taking music lessons, but these early years are important for other skills as well.
The amazing new Music Together Program provides a wonderful introduction to music for infants up to 5-year-old preschoolers. The singing and moving help build solid musical skills of pitch recognition and rhythm, while also establishing important one-on-one interraction and following directions. The classes are a wonderful beginning to help students transition both into preschool and in to music lessons!
